Karangu Muraya made headlines after making a surprise appearance at his estranged wife Triza Njeri’s album launch.
On Sunday, April 27, Triza hosted her album launch at the Blue Springs Hotel along Thika Road. It was the first time Karangu and Triza were seen together in public since she announced their separation. The event turned out to be a glamorous occasion, attracting several artistes and celebrities such as Samidoh, Karen Nyamu, Wanja Asali, and Wanja Nyayari.
During the event, Karangu stunned guests by gifting Triza KSh 200,000, creating one of the most memorable moments of the night. In an emotional speech, he expressed his continued love and support for her despite their separation.
“Triza, I want to tell you that I respect you, I love you, and I want you to prosper in all your endeavours. From today henceforth, as you do all that you will do, do it knowing that there is a husband who has your back and is ready to support you,” Karangu said.
The heartwarming gesture left many in the audience touched, with some praising Karangu for showing maturity and kindness. His support appeared genuine, showing that despite their personal differences, he remained committed to encouraging Triza’s growth and success in her career.
The album launch itself was a major success, with performances and appearances by notable names in the Kenyan entertainment industry. Guests celebrated Triza’s achievements and new music, marking an important milestone in her gospel music journey.
Karangu’s presence and public show of affection have sparked conversations among fans, with many expressing hope for a reconciliation between the two. However, neither Karangu nor Triza has commented on the possibility of reuniting, choosing instead to focus on celebrating the success of the night.
The event not only showcased Triza’s musical talent but also highlighted the importance of forgiveness, respect, and support even after personal relationships change.
