Cassie Ventura has given birth to her third child just two weeks after taking the stand in the sex trafficking trial against her former partner, music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs.
The news was revealed in court by Deonte Nash, Combs' stylist, who testified on Wednesday. Nash said he had spoken to Ventura on Tuesday to congratulate her on the birth. While details such as the baby's gender have not been disclosed, the child is Ventura’s third with her husband, personal trainer Alex Fine.
Ventura, who is now 37, played a key role in the ongoing federal trial, offering emotional and graphic testimony about her decade-long relationship with Combs. The two first met when Ventura was a 19-year-old newly signed singer. They began dating two years later, around 2007, and had an on-and-off relationship that lasted until 2018.
During her time on the witness stand on May 13, 2025, Ventura recounted incidents of physical and sexual abuse. She said the violence escalated over time and that attempts to defend herself would only make Combs more aggressive. Ventura also told the court that Combs raped her following one of their breakups. These claims echo allegations she made in a 2023 federal lawsuit, in which she accused Combs of rape and physical abuse.
After ending her relationship with Combs, Ventura moved on and married Alex Fine in 2019. The couple now has three children together, including two daughters born before the most recent addition.
Fine publicly expressed his support following Ventura’s testimony, saying, “Over the past five days, the world has gotten to witness the strength and bravery of my wife freeing herself of her past.”
Ventura’s courtroom appearance and the timing of her child’s birth have drawn significant public attention, highlighting both her personal resilience and the emotional weight of the trial against one of the music industry's most powerful figures.
